  2. Chop the onion, green chillies, ginger and coriander leaves
  3. Grate the beetroot and keep
  4. Now add all the ingredients and salt in the batter and mix well
  5. Heat the appe pan. Put a drop of oil in each cavity
  6. Then when hot pour the batter in each cavity and cook covered on low to medium flame
  7. Then when cooked flip it and let it cook from the other side also
  8. Remove when done and repeat the same procedure for the remaining batter.Then serve with chutney of your choice.
