  1. Make ready 2 1/2 cup flour
  2. Make ready 1 cup sugar
  3. Take 3 eggs

  6. Get 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  7. Take 1/4 tsp salt
  8. Get 2 tsp baking powder

  3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees
  4. Whisk all the dry ingredients(flour, sugar and salt)
  5. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well. If the dough is too sticky add a bit of flour
  6. Add in the nuts and raisins
  7. Cut the dough in half and shape into logs (2 1/2 inches wide)
  8. Bake for 20 minutes. They should look a bit golden but still soft. Let cool for 30 minutes
  9. Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake again til they are brown and crispy all the way through (about 15 mind flip half way)
