  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Peel and dice the aubergine add a little bit of salt to it and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Brown the beef and sausage. Add the onion and celery to the meat as it browns. Drain and lightly rinse the aubergine.
  3. When the beef and sausage and mix is simmering add the aubergine.
  4. Mix all the beans, peas broth and mixed vegetables.
  5. Pour the all the spices in with the meat and aubergine.
  6. Add the rice stir
  7. Add beans pea mixture to the rice and meat mixture
  8. Stir well bring to a boil. Add the breadcrumbs stir in well and put into the oven for 30 minutes covered.
  9. Take out of oven and let rest 10 minutes covered.
