The ingredients needed to make Moong Poha:
  1. Prepare 1 cup sabut moong washed soaked in water overnight
  2. Take 1 tbsp oil
  3. Get Pinch hing(asafoetida)
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds

  6. Take 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. Get 1 onion chopped finely
  9. Make ready 3-4 green chilli chopped finely
Steps to make Moong Poha:
  1. Strain the moong, keep aside.
  2. Take a pressure cooker, add moong, hing, salt & lil water, cover it with the lid, give 1 whistle, stop the flame, allow it to cool down.
  3. Now strain cooked moong, keep aside.
  4. Take a pan, add oil, heat it. Add zeera, sauté it for a while.
  5. Add moong, stir it for a while.
  6. Now add red chilli powder & garam masala powder, stir fry it for a while.
  7. Switch off the flame, take out in serving bowl, garnish it with chopped dhania patta, onions & green chilli chopped.
