The ingredients needed to make Paan Gilori:
  1. Get For outer layer—
  2. Get 125 gm cashew powder
  3. Take 50 gm (1/4 cup) water
  4. Prepare 75 gm sugar
  5. Prepare pinch green colour
  6. Prepare 2 betel leaves
  7. Get For stuffing—
  8. Get 4 tbsp mawa
  9. Make ready 3 tbsp gulkand
  10. Take as needed Silver warq and sugar coated fennel for garnish
Steps to make Paan Gilori:
  1. For stuffing— Mix the mawa, gulkand to a smooth dough and keep aside.
  2. For outer green layer—- rinse the betel leaves well in water. in a small blender, puree the betel leaves with some water and sieve it.
  3. Heat a pan, add betel water, plain water and sugar and let it boil till the two thread consistency. Add pinch of green colour and mix well.
  4. Now add the cashew powder, mix vigorously till you get the dough like consistency.
  5. Grease your hands and butter paper for easier rolling. Place the dough on a sheet of butter paper and roll out to the desired thickness.
  6. Cut into circle with cookie cutter and make a cone of it, add some gulkand- mawa stuffing.
