Steps to make Moringa Pumpkin khichdi:
- Wash the moringa leaves 2-3 times.Also wash and soak the rice and lentils.Heat a heavy bottom pan,add ghee.Add cumin,mustard seeds,asafoetida,dried red chillies and saute for a while. Then add chopped pumpkin and green chillies.
- Add moringa leaves,saute it then cover and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add dry spices along with salt mix well.Add chopped tomatoes then add soaked rice and lentil.
- Mix every thing properly then add water.As water comes to boil cover it and cook for 20 minutes. This Delicious khichdi can be eaten as a complete meal with curd or any chutney.
