Sometimes called a starch and other times a powder, arrowroot is more desirable as a thickener than often- genetically engineered (GE) flour, cornstarch or rice. - Peel the arrowroots, wash, cut into desired pieces and boil to softed.

- In a saucepan, fry the onions and tomatoes. Add in the tomato paste and all the spices and soysauce and stir to mix well
- Add in the 3 tablespoons of water to form a paste
- Add in the dhania, stir well. Let it cook for 1 min. Serve and enjoy
- Add in the deep fried ndumas slowly as you make sure they are coated in the paste
